Client Awards 2025: Celebrating Excellence, Resilience, and Real Results

At Forzani Business Education, we believe business is hard — and the people who show up, do the work, and push through deserve to be celebrated.

That’s why we hold our annual Client Awards every year. It’s not just about recognizing numbers on a spreadsheet. It’s about honoring the effort, the tough decisions, the systems built, the obstacles overcome, and the genuine growth achieved in one of the most challenging pursuits anyone can take on: building and running a profitable business.

We split the awards into two main groups:

Rookie Clients (first year in our program, 6+ months)

Established Clients (2nd year + in the program)

We also created Club Medal categories for those who came very close to winning a trophy. Every award is based purely on numbers — no subjectivity, just real, measurable results after fair market wage adjustments and proper operational accounting.

Here are all the 2025 winners and their stories:

Rookie Client Awards (First Year in Program, 6+ Months)

INCREASED REVENUE AWARD:

Trophy Winner: Yanick – Edge Glass (Calgary, AB) www.edgeglass.ca

Yanick installs glass and made the deliberate decision to ease himself off the tools by hiring and training others. This allowed him to focus on sales and marketing. He didn’t go from 100% on the tools to 0% overnight — he transitioned gradually while building systems. The result? A massive revenue increase in under a year while creating a more scalable operation.

MANAGING GROSS MARGIN AWARD

Trophy Winner: Yanick – Edge Glass

Yanick also dominated here by focusing on proper pricing of extras and add-ons. He adjusted margins across the board and saw sales hold strong (and even grow) because customers valued the quality and service. A great reminder that smart pricing doesn’t scare customers away.

MANAGING EXPENSES AWARD

Trophy Winner: Yanick – Edge Glass

Yanick swept the rookie categories by making tough but necessary expense decisions early. He focused on what truly moved the needle and avoided unnecessary spending as revenue grew.
